In 2007, the musicologist Tito Olivato published his monograph dedicated to the composer, Sisto Reina, entitled Vita e opere del minore conventuale fra Sisto Reina di Saronno: espressione del barocco padano (Società Storica Saronnese). This book includes an analysis and transcription of seven motets from his Fiorita corona di melodia celeste, op. 7, dedicated to the nuns of San Giovanni Battista in Bologna and the organist Suor Erminia Catterina Manzoli. The volume is accompanied by a recording of these works, “eseguiti magistralmente dalla Cappella Artemisia” (Amadeus Online).
